Before optimization, Gonstead Physical Medicine had an average map rank of 18.8, meaning they rarely appeared in front of potential patients.

After optimizing their Google Business Profile, strengthening citations, and integrating keyword-rich local content, their average map rank jumped to 5.7, moving them firmly into the Map Pack for key search terms. The x-axis shows how many keywords a site ranks for in Google’s top 100, while the y-axis shows the average ranking position for those keywords. Before optimization, Gonstead’s competition map visibility score was 11.62, reflecting limited keyword coverage and low comparative visibility.
